Consulation takes place for approximately 1 to 1.5 hours at my clinic or on personal visits.

The follow up consultation takes place for 30 minutes.

Acute consultation can be taken over the phone too.

A typical consulation session:

During a session I would be taking preliminary data, your chief complaint or presenting complaint, family history, your childhood history, previous medication if any, any associated complaint.

AFTER THE CONSULATION IF THE ILLNESS IS ACUTE THE REMEDY WOULD BE PRESCRIBED THEN AND THERE:

For chronic consultations I would post the remedy the following day.

Fees:

Intial consulation: £60.

Children consultation below age of 12: £35.

Acute phone consulatation £15 if post remedy: £20.

Medicine: £5

Follow up consulation: £40

Prescription of bush flowers or herbal tinctures if required would cost extra.

What is swine flu

Swine flu (swine influenza) is a disease of pigs. It is a highly contagious respiratory disease caused by one of many Influenza A viruses. Approximately 1% to 4% of pigs that get swine flu die from it. It is spread among pigs by direct and indirect contact, aerosols, and from pigs that are infected but do not have symptoms. In many parts of the world pigs are vaccinated against swine flu.

Most commonly, swine flu is of the H1N1 influenza subtype. However, they can sometimes come from the other types, such as H1N2, H3N1, and H3N2.

The current outbreak of swine flu that has infected humans is of the H1N1 type - this type is not as dangerous as some others.
